New smartphone: Set up the Sparkasse apps when changing devices
App Sparkasse Business and pushTAN on a new smartphone or tablet · Instructions
Keep using the Sparkasse apps – even on your iPhone/iPad or Android device. Learn how to set up the App Sparkasse Business and the S-pushTAN-App again.
Important: Please prepare everything you need for the setup. You will find all the essentials in the following section. Tip: Start the setup process on your device and keep an eye on the instructions at the same time – preferably with a second device.
S-pushTAN-App
Download the latest version of the app for free – from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To set up the Sparkasse apps on a new device, you need the access data for your online banking.
To set up your S-pushTAN-App again when you change device, you also need:
If your old device is still working (quick setup)
Bluetooth and camera
Security first: Banking apps must not be automatically transferred to other smartphones. If you have already registered the S-pushTAN-App on your existing smartphone, you can quickly and easily transfer your data to the new smartphone with the “Device change” function.
You also need:
Bluetooth activated on your existing and new smartphone
A working pushTAN connection on your existing and already registered device
A working camera on your existing and already registered device to read the QR code
If your old device is not working
Registration details by letter:
Sparkassen-Card (debit card) – card number
You will be asked to enter your card number when setting up the app again. You should therefore have your Sparkassen-Card (debit card) ready. The number is located on the back.
Registration details by text message:
Identification with eID verification –
identity document and end device
To confirm your identity via the online ID function (eID), you need:
an identity document with an online ID function (eID)
the PIN for your identity document
an NFC-enabled end device
Registration details by text message:
Verification by card (for Android only) – Sparkassen-Card (debit card)
As an Android user, you can verify your identity with your Sparkassen-Card (debit card). For this you will need an NFC-compatible smartphone or tablet. You can check whether your device is suitable under “NFC” in the device settings.
Without online banking
Activation password and credit card number
If you only use the S-pushTAN-App to approve online card payments, please have your activation password and 16-digit card number ready. The number is located on the front of your card. The activation password can be found in the additional letter you received along with the registration letter for the S-pushTAN-App.
